As people spend more and more time online, they produce huge amount of data every second, which could be a giant resouce to be made use of by anyone who have the access to.
Berlin court rules grieving parents have no right to dead child's Facebook account
A German court has ruled that Facebook rightfully rejected access to a deceased girl's account. Her parents have tried to clarify their daughter's death since she was struck by a subway train in Berlin in 2012.
Challenge
The law for data heritage is not yet inadequate. Big firms take a completely different approach to data legacy, yet very few of them can handle it in a very humane way. That leaves me space to innovate and examine new approaches to this unsolved problem.
